Totally in love

We’re all completely head over heels for Miss Isabella. Her brothers love to sing to her to help calm her down and although Alex is still to young, Tommy and Anthony love to hold her. It’s a change for Tom and I to have the older kids around and capable of helping with her. Thankfully it’s summer vacation so they are around to help me when I need it, mainly with keeping Alex entertained and happy.

Tomorrow night Miss Isabella gets to meet her Aunt Jackie and cousin Jason. It makes me sad to think that it could be another year or so before she meets any of my side of the family. Tom has suggested that I hop on a plane with her and head up to MI. The idea is something to be entertained, but I would much rather go all together as a family. I wish money wasn’t such an issue so that we could buy some plane tickets and get a rental car. We’ve been living out here in SoCal for a year and a half now and we haven’t been able to make it back yet.

Well, with all that nonsense over I’ll leave you with a picture of the girl that has captured our hearts. This was taken on June 27th, one day shy of her 3 week “birthday”. She’s finally starting to fill out and fit into her newborn sized clothing. I keep meaning to set up some stuff in the front room so we can take some cute pictures of her. I’m hoping to get it done still, hopefully she’ll still cooperate with most of it. We did have our family pictures taken, I think they will be great. I’m very anxious to see how they turned out, I’ve been worried about my choice to leave on my long sweater jacket on that morning – I was just too chilly to consider not wearing it. I hope it doesn’t make me look out of place and horrible. I’m crossing my fingers that they turn out the way I hope, because if they do I’m going to see about having another session done but down in Little Italy in San Diego for a change.
