Our landlord came by today and put the ‘For Rent’ sign in our dying lawn. We have 25 days until we pick up the keys for our house on base. We are anxious, excited, nervous and sad. None of us want to move from this house. It’s perfect for us. We have plenty of room for all of us, all of our things and guests have a place to stay that isn’t in the middle of all the commotion. The house is bright and airy, excellent for picture possibilities. We even have a decent yard. The schools are great, shopping is close by and we have a few people that we know who live near us.Our neighborhood is pretty quiet with some little playgrounds tucked all around all within walking distance.
Hopefully by the end of the weekend we’ll figure out the details of when we are picking up the moving truck and when our cable, phone and internet will get turned on. We need to find more moving boxes, I gave away most of the ones from our initial move out here once we were done with them. We’ve also decided to have a yard sale in 2 weekends. Hopefully that will free us of alot of stuff we didn’t want to just throw in the trash.
